We extend a warm invitation to join us for the 36th Taiwan International Happiness Two-Day March, taking place on November 7th & 8th, in the vibrant city of Taipei.

Your presence at this event is truly appreciated, and we are excited to have you participate in this wonderful occasion. We welcome friends, both old and new, from across the globe to join us as we walk together, exploring the beautiful landscapes, immersing in the local culture, and experiencing the hospitality of Taiwan.

The event offers an opportunity not only to reconnect with old friends, reminiscing about past adventures and shared experiences, but also to forge new friendships as we traverse the scenic routes of Taipei.

Event Introduction

• Event Dates: Nov. 7th & 8th
• Course distances: 5KM / 10KM / 20KM / 30KM
• Main Venue (Start/Finish Location): Dengkong Elementary School (鄧公國小) map

• Schedule:

• Welcome Lunch: Nov. 7th (Day 1), noon 12:00-3:30 @ Start/Finish Location
• Farewell Party: Nov. 8th (Day 2), evening 6:00-8:30 @ Amazing Hall, Minquan Branch map
• Award Ceremony: The IML awards will be presented at the Farewell party.
• Registration fee: TWD $2,500 (payable upon arrival at Taipei by cash)

(Please come to our office (CTAA) to complete the registration and payment procedures within 3 days before the event starts.)

* Office hours: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wed.-Friday, November 4th to 6th

Accommodation

◼ Taipei has a very convenient Metro (MRT) and bus system, along with a wide range of hotels at different price levels, so there's no need for our international friends to worry. For more information about Taipei MRT, please visit its official website https://english.metro.taipei/

◼ As long as you choose accommodation near any MRT station in Taipei, transportation should not be a problem. You can get to most places within a manageable time.

◼The main venue (start/finish point) for the 2026 event will be located slightly north of downtown Taipei, at Dengkong Elementary School. The site is conveniently situated near Tamsui MRT Station (R28), the northern terminus of the Red Line. Travel time from downtown Taipei (Taipei Main Station, R10) to R28 is approximately 40 minutes. Participants may consider choosing accommodation along the MRT Red Line to ensure convenient access to the venue.

The walking routes of this year’s event are set in the scenic Tamsui (淡水) area. Tamsui, a hidden gem in the northern part of Greater Taipei, is renowned for its captivating blend of riverside landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and breathtaking coastal scenery.

Participants will enjoy an immersive journey featuring a series of iconic landmarks, including the panoramic Guandu Bridge (關渡大橋), the breezy Tamsui Golden Waterfront (淡水金色水岸), the vibrant Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf (淡水漁人碼頭), and, in particular, the magnificent Tamsui–Bali Bridge (淡江大橋), currently the world’s longest single-tower asymmetric cable-stayed bridge. The route also includes the scenic Bali Left Bank Park (八里左岸公園), the culturally significant Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology (十三行博物館), and the historic Fort San Domingo (紅毛城).

The majority of the routes are flat and well-paved, with minimal elevation gain (generally below 300 meters), ensuring a comfortable experience for participants. The use of trekking poles is optional but recommended for added support over longer distances.
